AUTUMN RESEARCH SEMINAR IN MILAN, 9-13 SEPTEMBER
Programme
The seminar provides training for doctoral students in research design, critical thinking and effective writing. There are sessions on current research by the academic team on internationalisation of higher education, and all students are given the opportunity to present their work and receive feedback.
Location & accommodation
The 2024 Autumn Seminar will take place at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, via Carducci 30, in Milan, 9-13 September.
Participants can make their own accommodation arrangements. For those who might be interested, we have secured 14 rooms at the student halls of residence in Via Lodovico Necchi 1 which is within easy walking distance of the seminar location. The rooms are available between Sunday 8th and Saturday 14th September at €60 per night. The rooms include bed linens, bathroom towels, hairdryer, TV and WiFi. Breakfast is not included and there are no kitchen facilities available.
We will allocate the rooms based on order of seminar enrolment to participants arriving on Sunday and staying until Friday (Saturday check out possible). You will be informed by the CHEI office if you have been allocated a room.
Fee
The seminar fee is EUR 800.
This includes attendance at the in-person seminar, plus access to the online programme which is held between October and March. The fee also includes the welcome aperitivo, the CHEI community dinner, and refreshments during the breaks.
