Academics are still finding it difficult to internationalise their learning outcomes. In this video, filmed during the Coronavirus pandemic, CHEI Alumnus Jos Beelen notes the enduring relevance of his PhD topic - enablers and obstacles to internationalisation of the curriculum. Jos is Professor of Global Learning at The Hague University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands.

Catherine Montgomery, expert in internationalisation in higher education, talks about transnational partnerships in higher education in China, focusing on the complexities and inequalities that emerge in an elitist globalized world. Catherine is a Professor of Education at the University of Bath, UK. She is also Deputy Editor of the Journal of Education for Teaching.
