Cyberpsychology

The way in which human behavior is influenced, empowered, and transformed by digital technologies is the focus of the increasingly relevant branch of new media psychology.

Between 13 and 15 September 2021, the Annual International Conference on CyberPsychology, CyberTherapy & Social Networking (CYPSY25) was held , of which Prof. Giuseppe Riva, Director of HTLAB, is co-organizer.  The Conference, organized by the Italian Auxological Institute, covered several topics, including those of Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Social Networking, Online Behavior, Robotics, Forensic Cyberpsychology, Ethics related to Automation and Machine Learning, Avatar, e-Health, SMART and IoT applications.

Furthermore, in May 2021, Prof. Giuseppe Riva edited a special issue for the journal CyberPsychology & Behavior focused on the impact of social robots and their possible use in different business and healthcare contexts.
