Cyberpsychology

How human behavior is influenced, enhanced, and transformed by digital technologies is the focus of the increasingly relevant branch of new media psychology.
The Annual International Conference on CyberPsychology, CyberTherapy & Social Networking (CYPSY25), co-chaired by HTLAB Director, Prof. Giuseppe Riva, was held from 13 to September 15th. The Conference was organized by the Istituto Auxologico Italiano and covered several topics: Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Social Networking, Online Behavior, Robotics, Forensic Cyberpsychology, Ethics related to Automation and Machine Learning, Avatars, e-Health, SMART applications, and IoT.
Prof. Giuseppe Riva edited a particular issue for the journal CyberPsychology & Behavior, focusing on the impact of social robots and their possible use in different business and healthcare contexts, in May 2021.
