National Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence

Through its Humane Technology Lab, the Università Cattolica actively participates in the National Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence, co-funding two Ph.D. scholarships on the topics "Critical analysis of psychological and cognitive aspects of Artificial Intelligence" and "Critical analysis of the psychological and developmental aspects of Social Robotics", within the AI for Society specialization area. In 2019, thanks to the establishment of the National Artificial Intelligence Scientific Community Steering Committee at the CNR, the National PhD-AI.it doctorate was launched to boost research and industrial and social innovation in the country. PhD-AI.it trains more than 100 Ph.D. students per year and is divided into five specific paths: AI for Health and Life Science; AI for Industry 4.0; AI for Security; AI for Environment and Agriculture; AI for Society.

Call for Admission

The call  for admission to the National Doctorate in Artificial Intelligence - Society area (administrative seat Pisa) has been published. A total of 47 scholarships, co-funded or financed by the partner universities, are available.

The Università Cattolica participates in the Ph.D. in AI, co-financing two scholarships on the themes "Critical analysis of psychological and cognitive aspects of Artificial Intelligence" and "Critical analysis of the psychological and developmental aspects of Social Robotics",  within the AI for Society specialization area. The deadline for applications is  August 8th, 2022.
