National PhD in Artificial Intelligence

Through the Humane Technology Lab, Università Cattolica actively participates in the National PhD in Artificial Intelligence, co-financing two PhD scholarships on the topics "Critical Analysis of the Psychological and Cognitive Aspects of Artificial Intelligence" and "Critical Analysis of the Psychological and Evolutionary Aspects of Social Robotics", within the specialization area AI for Society.
In 2019, thanks to the establishment of a Steering Committee of the national scientific community of Artificial Intelligence at the CNR, the National Doctorate PhD-AI.it was launched, with the aim of boosting research and industrial and social innovation in the country. PhD-AI.it trains more than 100 PhD students per year and is divided into five specific pathways: AI for Health and Life Science; AI for Industry 4.0; AI for Security; AI for Environment and Agriculture; AI for Society.
Call for admission
The call for admission to the National PhD in Artificial Intelligence - Society area (Pisa administrative headquarters) has been published.
A total of 47 scholarships are announced, co-financed or funded by partner universities.
