The Aristotle Prize to Giuseppe Riva

On Thursday 6 July, Professor Giuseppe Riva, Professor of Communication Psychology and Psychotechnologies for Wellbeing at Università Cattolica in Milan, received the "Aristotle Prize" from EFPA (European Federation of Psychologists Associations) in Brighton, United Kingdom.
On the proposal of the Italian Association of Psychologists and after the official application on the InPA recruitment portal, the Prize was awarded during the 18th European Congress of Psychology to the professor, a member of the Federation, as a European scholar who has made substantial and original contributions to psychology both as a science and as a profession.
The award was conferred at the ceremony by the president of EFPA and a representative of the Association of Greek Psychologists and the Hellenic Psychological Society. For the occasion, Professor Riva gave a lecture on the theme chosen this year by the European Congress of Psychology, namely "Psychology: Uniting communities for a sustainable world".
Among the reasons for the Award is that the winning candidate must have achieved excellent results in all categories, but particularly well in relation to certain standards: international recognition for having made a substantial and original contribution to psychology as a science or profession; publication in academic journals; presentations at national and European conferences; in-depth engagement in the area of interest of the Award; demonstrable research or professional contribution; Advancement of studies, exercise of psychology and inheritance for the future.
Each year the Aristotle Prize is awarded to an individual psychologist or an internationally recognized group. It was first awarded to EFPA by the Association of Greek Psychologists AGP and the Hellenic Psychological Society during the 4th European Congress of Psychology in 1995 in Athens.
