
CyberHorizons: Exploring the Impact of the Digital World on Society and Professions
Lecture Series
The CyberHorizons lecture series, promoted by the Humane Technology Lab (HTLab) of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, was created to explore the relationship between human experience and digital technologies, with a particular focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Through an interdisciplinary and accessible approach, and in dialogue with experts from academia, business, and the media, the series aims to provide critical tools to understand and address the challenges and opportunities brought by the evolution of AI.
Three events open to students, alumni, and the general public, dedicated to key topics such as the labor market, the influence of social media on human relationships, and the impact of technologies on psychological well-being.
Scientific Director: Prof. Giuseppe Riva, Full Professor of General Psychology and Director of HTLab.
Objectives
- Investigate the impact of AI and digital technologies on society and professions.
- Provide tools to critically interpret ongoing changes.
- Promote informed dialogue between experts and citizens.
- Encourage a conscious and multidimensional view of the digital world.
