Extended: The Potential of Extended Realities in Teaching and Learning

Seminar organized in the framework of the "Metaversity" project.

The meeting is organized by the Teaching and Learning Lab (TeLeLab), in collaboration with the Center for Studies and Research in Communication Psychology (PSICOM) and the Humane Technology Lab (HTLab), as part of the "Metaversity" project. This is an action-research initiative aimed at University professors with the aim of exploring the potential offered by immersive virtual and phygital hybrid teaching, with particular reference to the Metaverse paradigm.

The seminar examines the most recent frontiers of virtual technologies, with particular reference to augmented and mixed reality, deepening the potential they have in the field of teaching and learning.

During the meeting, use cases and experimental applications of mixed reality will also be presented through a live demonstration with Apple Vision Pro, with the technical support of Magnetic Media Network SpA.

The meeting will be held on Wednesday 13 March 2024, from 4.00 p.m. to 5.30 p.m., at Sala Diamante 1, in Via Olona, 2.
