The European Centre for Career Development & Entrepreneurship (ECCE) is a strategic partnership between Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Regent’s University London, Paris School of Business (PBS), Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and EBC Hochschule. It is an Erasmus+ project falling within Key Action 2: cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices.
The three-year project officially started in 2015, although the founding partners had already worked together for some time before this. The project was successfully completed in 2018.
The purpose of the project was threefold: to form a transnational career service, to train career service staff and to foster entrepreneurship among students. Information gathered from the various stakeholders – including international offices, academics, students, companies and entrepreneurs – was used as a basis for the design of targeted activities.
Details of outputs and actions are available on the ECCE site, and include the production of a European Career Guide, an online platform, staff training, Summer Schools on Entrepreneurship from a European perspective, and the development of a European Career Adviser Curriculum.
5-6 April 2018: Conference on Global Connections and International Careers Services held in Berlin. Jérôme Rickmann, Director ITAPD, ECCE Project Leader and CHEI PhD student, presented on the learnings and outcomes of the ECCE model.
