Disability Manager

The Advanced Training Course in Disability Manager and the world of work is organized by the University Center for Bioethics and Life Sciences and by the Adriano Bausola Personal Philosophy Research Center (CrifipAB) in collaboration with the I.R.C.C.S. Carlo Besta Neurological Institute. It intends to provide the necessary skills for the employment of people with disabilities, in the light of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, of Law 68, of the regulations envisaged by the National and Regional Plan of Action on Disability as well as of the Job Act. The ICF Classification and the person-centered biopsychosocial model represent the theoretical and conceptual basis on which the work of the Disability Manager is based and provide a common language for all interlocutors.

The course provides the operational and cultural tools to achieve a unified and coordinated vision of the skills necessary to improve the quality and effectiveness of policies for the employment of people with disabilities. Recipients The Course is aimed at qualified professionals to whom it intends to provide new skills to operate, also in the light of the legislation envisaged by the National Action Plan on Disability and the Jobs Act, with greater awareness and effectiveness in the sector of accessibility and job placement of people with disabilities.

The knowledge and skills acquired in the course also allow the validation of the skills relating to the professional figure of the DISABILITY MANAGER (EXPERT IN THE MANAGEMENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES WITH DISABILITIES), as indicated in the QRSP (Regional Framework of Professional Standards of the Lombardy Region).
